You will be provided with many opportunities to gain satisfaction through providing services to your family, friends, neighbors, and the community during emergencies in their time of need.

In addition, you will be provided with an environment of camaraderie, training, and education to aid you in gaining First Responder Certification required by the State of New Jersey.

There are a number of additional benefits that you and your family will be provided with and entitled to as a member of TBVFC. These benefits will be identified and fully detailed upon acceptance as a member of the fire company.

Active Firefighter Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements to become an active firefighter in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 18
• Pass a physical examination
• Pass a personal background check
• Complete and pass a Firefighter I course certified by The State of New Jersey

Associate Membership Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements to become an associate member in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 18
• Pass a personal background check

Junior Firefighters Membership Requirements
TBVFC provides junior firefighter training and support for youth. The following are the minimum requirements to become a Junior Firefighting Member in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 14
• Pass a personal background check
• Obtain written permission of parents or guardian
