Become a member of the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company

As a volunteer fire fighter with Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company you’ll gain satisfaction by providing services to your family, friends, neighbors, and the community in their time of need.

 

You’ll be given the training and education to aid you in gaining First Responder Certification required by the State of New Jersey.

Active Firefighter Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to become an active firefighter in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 18

• Pass a physical examination

• Pass a personal background check.

• Complete and pass Firefighter I course certified by The State of New Jersey

 

Associate Membership Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to become an associate member in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 18

• Pass a personal background check

 

Junior Firefighters Membership Requirements

TBVFC provides junior firefighter training and support for youth. The following are the minimum requirements to become a Junior Firefighting Member in the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company:

• Minimum age of 16

• Pass a personal background check

• Obtain written permission of parent or guardian
